Beste familie en vrienden,
In juli en augustus 2014 zullen wij, Claudine Maas en Ingrid de Lijser, een reis gaan maken door Vietnam en Cambodja. Tijdens deze reis zullen we op verschillende plekken vrijwilligerswerk gaan doen. De reis zullen wij maken onder begeleiding van Travel Active, een reisorganisatie gespecialiseerd op vrijwilligerswerk (Travel Active). Door de jarenlange ervaring van Travel Active zullen zij ons goed kunnen begeleiden en er voor zorgen dat onze hulp zo goed mogelijk benut wordt.
Vanaf Schiphol zullen we naar Siem Reap in Cambodja vliegen en daar met het lokale openbaar vervoer naar Samraong riezen, ook wel de 'ondoordringbare jungle' genoemd. Samraong is een stad met ongeveer 34.000 inwoners. Door een langdurige burgeroorlog kent deze stad slechte infrastructuur en eenvoudige gasthuizen. In deze stad zullen wij 2 weken in gasthuizen verblijven en op verschillende gebieden de inwoners helpen. Zo zal Claudine les geven op een school en Ingrid assisteren in een ziekenhuis. Ook zullen er nog mogelijkheden zijn om te assisteren in een weeshuis en voorlichting te geven over gezondheid in hygiëne in verschillende dorpjes. Claudine hoopt door middel van Engels les te geven aan kinderen, deze kinderen een betere toekomst te bieden. Als kinderen van jongs af aan Engels meekrijgen en het op een latere leeftijd goed kunnen spreken, is de kans op een goede baan veel groter. Zo kunnen ze bijvoorbeeld in toerisme gaan werken. Ingrid zal in het ziekenhuis gaan werken en voorlichting geven in afgelegen dorpen.
Na ons bezoek aan Samraong zullen wij op eigen voet verder reizen naar onze volgende bestemming in Vietnam. Onderweg zullen we de hoogtepunten van zowel Cambodja en Vietnam bezoeken. We zullen in een week van Samraong naar Sapa backpacken.
In vietnam zullen wij verblijven in Sapa. Sapa is een stad in het noorden van Vietnam, op ongeveer 1600 meter hoogte. Door de afgelegen ligging is deze stad een toevluchtsoord geworden voor minderheidsgroeperingen in Vietnam. Ook hier zullen we verblijven in gasthuizen. Als vrijwilligers zullen we daar helpen in een onderwijsproject om kinderen Engels te leren.
Na ons verblijf in Sapa zullen we nog een week verblijven in Bali. Hier zullen we even tot rust komen na alle indrukken maar vooral even genieten.
Natuurlijk zijn we allebei hard aan het werk om deze reis te financieren, maar helaas is dit nog niet genoeg. Beste familie en vrienden,
In juli en augustus 2014 zullen wij, Claudine Maas en Ingrid de Lijser, een reis gaan maken door Vietnam en Cambodja. Tijdens deze reis zullen we op verschillende plekken vrijwilligerswerk gaan doen. De reis zullen wij maken onder begeleiding van Travel Active, een reisorganisatie gespecialiseerd op vrijwilligerswerk (Travel Active). Door de jarenlange ervaring van Travel Active zullen zij ons goed kunnen begeleiden en er voor zorgen dat onze hulp zo goed mogelijk benut wordt.
Vanaf Schiphol zullen we naar Siem Reap in Cambodja vliegen en daar met het lokale openbaar vervoer naar Samraong riezen, ook wel de 'ondoordringbare jungle' genoemd. Samraong is een stad met ongeveer 34.000 inwoners. Door een langdurige burgeroorlog kent deze stad slechte infrastructuur en eenvoudige gasthuizen. In deze stad zullen wij 2 weken in gasthuizen verblijven en op verschillende gebieden de inwoners helpen. Zo zal Claudine les geven op een school en Ingrid assisteren in een ziekenhuis. Ook zullen er nog mogelijkheden zijn om te assisteren in een weeshuis en voorlichting te geven over gezondheid in hygiëne in verschillende dorpjes. Claudine hoopt door middel van Engels les te geven aan kinderen, deze kinderen een betere toekomst te bieden. Als kinderen van jongs af aan Engels meekrijgen en het op een latere leeftijd goed kunnen spreken, is de kans op een goede baan veel groter. Zo kunnen ze bijvoorbeeld in toerisme gaan werken. Ingrid zal in het ziekenhuis gaan werken en voorlichting geven in afgelegen dorpen.
Na ons bezoek aan Samraong zullen wij op eigen voet verder reizen naar onze volgende bestemming in Vietnam. Onderweg zullen we de hoogtepunten van zowel Cambodja en Vietnam bezoeken. We zullen in een week van Samraong naar Sapa backpacken.
In vietnam zullen wij verblijven in Sapa. Sapa is een stad in het noorden van Vietnam, op ongeveer 1600 meter hoogte. Door de afgelegen ligging is deze stad een toevluchtsoord geworden voor minderheidsgroeperingen in Vietnam. Ook hier zullen we verblijven in gasthuizen. Als vrijwilligers zullen we daar helpen in een onderwijsproject om kinderen Engels te leren.
Na ons verblijf in Sapa zullen we nog een week verblijven in Bali. Hier zullen we even tot rust komen na alle indrukken maar vooral even genieten.
Natuurlijk zijn we allebei hard aan het werk om deze reis te financieren, maar helaas is dit nog niet genoeg. Beste familie en vrienden,
In juli en augustus 2014 zullen wij, Claudine Maas en Ingrid de Lijser, een reis gaan maken door Vietnam en Cambodja. Tijdens deze reis zullen we op verschillende plekken vrijwilligerswerk gaan doen. De reis zullen wij maken onder begeleiding van Travel Active, een reisorganisatie gespecialiseerd op vrijwilligerswerk (Travel Active). Door de jarenlange ervaring van Travel Active zullen zij ons goed kunnen begeleiden en er voor zorgen dat onze hulp zo goed mogelijk benut wordt.
Vanaf Schiphol zullen we naar Siem Reap in Cambodja vliegen en daar met het lokale openbaar vervoer naar Samraong riezen, ook wel de 'ondoordringbare jungle' genoemd. Samraong is een stad met ongeveer 34.000 inwoners. Door een langdurige burgeroorlog kent deze stad slechte infrastructuur en eenvoudige gasthuizen. In deze stad zullen wij 2 weken in gasthuizen verblijven en op verschillende gebieden de inwoners helpen. Zo zal Claudine les geven op een school en Ingrid assisteren in een ziekenhuis. Ook zullen er nog mogelijkheden zijn om te assisteren in een weeshuis en voorlichting te geven over gezondheid in hygiëne in verschillende dorpjes. Claudine hoopt door middel van Engels les te geven aan kinderen, deze kinderen een betere toekomst te bieden. Als kinderen van jongs af aan Engels meekrijgen en het op een latere leeftijd goed kunnen spreken, is de kans op een goede baan veel groter. Zo kunnen ze bijvoorbeeld in toerisme gaan werken. Ingrid zal in het ziekenhuis gaan werken en voorlichting geven in afgelegen dorpen.
Na ons bezoek aan Samraong zullen wij op eigen voet verder reizen naar onze volgende bestemming in Vietnam. Onderweg zullen we de hoogtepunten van zowel Cambodja en Vietnam bezoeken. We zullen in een week van Samraong naar Sapa backpacken.
In vietnam zullen wij verblijven in Sapa. Sapa is een stad in het noorden van Vietnam, op ongeveer 1600 meter hoogte. Door de afgelegen ligging is deze stad een toevluchtsoord geworden voor minderheidsgroeperingen in Vietnam. Ook hier zullen we verblijven in gasthuizen. Als vrijwilligers zullen we daar helpen in een onderwijsproject om kinderen Engels te leren.
Na ons verblijf in Sapa zullen we nog een week verblijven in Bali. Hier zullen we even tot rust komen na alle indrukken maar vooral even genieten.
Natuurlijk zijn we allebei hard aan het werk om deze reis te financieren, maar helaas is dit nog niet genoeg. Beste familie en vrienden,
In juli en augustus 2014 zullen wij, Claudine Maas en Ingrid de Lijser, een reis gaan maken door Vietnam en Cambodja. Tijdens deze reis zullen we op verschillende plekken vrijwilligerswerk gaan doen. De reis zullen wij maken onder begeleiding van Travel Active, een reisorganisatie gespecialiseerd op vrijwilligerswerk (Travel Active). Door de jarenlange ervaring van Travel Active zullen zij ons goed kunnen begeleiden en er voor zorgen dat onze hulp zo goed mogelijk benut wordt.
Vanaf Schiphol zullen we naar Siem Reap in Cambodja vliegen en daar met het lokale openbaar vervoer naar Samraong riezen, ook wel de 'ondoordringbare jungle' genoemd. Samraong is een stad met ongeveer 34.000 inwoners. Door een langdurige burgeroorlog kent deze stad slechte infrastructuur en eenvoudige gasthuizen. In deze stad zullen wij 2 weken in gasthuizen verblijven en op verschillende gebieden de inwoners helpen. Zo zal Claudine les geven op een school en Ingrid assisteren in een ziekenhuis. Ook zullen er nog mogelijkheden zijn om te assisteren in een weeshuis en voorlichting te geven over gezondheid in hygiëne in verschillende dorpjes. Claudine hoopt door middel van Engels les te geven aan kinderen, deze kinderen een betere toekomst te bieden. Als kinderen van jongs af aan Engels meekrijgen en het op een latere leeftijd goed kunnen spreken, is de kans op een goede baan veel groter. Zo kunnen ze bijvoorbeeld in toerisme gaan werken. Ingrid zal in het ziekenhuis gaan werken en voorlichting geven in afgelegen dorpen.
Na ons bezoek aan Samraong zullen wij op eigen voet verder reizen naar onze volgende bestemming in Vietnam. Onderweg zullen we de hoogtepunten van zowel Cambodja en Vietnam bezoeken. We zullen in een week van Samraong naar Sapa backpacken.
In vietnam zullen wij verblijven in Sapa. Sapa is een stad in het noorden van Vietnam, op ongeveer 1600 meter hoogte. Door de afgelegen ligging is deze stad een toevluchtsoord geworden voor minderheidsgroeperingen in Vietnam. Ook hier zullen we verblijven in gasthuizen. Als vrijwilligers zullen we daar helpen in een onderwijsproject om kinderen Engels te leren.
Na ons verblijf in Sapa zullen we nog een week verblijven in Bali. Hier zullen we even tot rust komen na alle indrukken maar vooral even genieten.
Natuurlijk zijn we allebei hard aan het werk om deze reis te financieren, maar helaas is dit nog niet genoeg. Beste familie en vrienden,
In juli en augustus 2014 zullen wij, Claudine Maas en Ingrid de Lijser, een reis gaan maken door Vietnam en Cambodja. Tijdens deze reis zullen we op verschillende plekken vrijwilligerswerk gaan doen. De reis zullen wij maken onder begeleiding van Travel Active, een reisorganisatie gespecialiseerd op vrijwilligerswerk (Travel Active). Door de jarenlange ervaring van Travel Active zullen zij ons goed kunnen begeleiden en er voor zorgen dat onze hulp zo goed mogelijk benut wordt.
Vanaf Schiphol zullen we naar Siem Reap in Cambodja vliegen en daar met het lokale openbaar vervoer naar Samraong riezen, ook wel de 'ondoordringbare jungle' genoemd. Samraong is een stad met ongeveer 34.000 inwoners. Door een langdurige burgeroorlog kent deze stad slechte infrastructuur en eenvoudige gasthuizen. In deze stad zullen wij 2 weken in gasthuizen verblijven en op verschillende gebieden de inwoners helpen. Zo zal Claudine les geven op een school en Ingrid assisteren in een ziekenhuis. Ook zullen er nog mogelijkheden zijn om te assisteren in een weeshuis en voorlichting te geven over gezondheid in hygiëne in verschillende dorpjes. Claudine hoopt door middel van Engels les te geven aan kinderen, deze kinderen een betere toekomst te bieden. Als kinderen van jongs af aan Engels meekrijgen en het op een latere leeftijd goed kunnen spreken, is de kans op een goede baan veel groter. Zo kunnen ze bijvoorbeeld in toerisme gaan werken. Ingrid zal in het ziekenhuis gaan werken en voorlichting geven in afgelegen dorpen.
Na ons bezoek aan Samraong zullen wij op eigen voet verder reizen naar onze volgende bestemming in Vietnam. Onderweg zullen we de hoogtepunten van zowel Cambodja en Vietnam bezoeken. We zullen in een week van Samraong naar Sapa backpacken.
In vietnam zullen wij verblijven in Sapa. Sapa is een stad in het noorden van Vietnam, op ongeveer 1600 meter hoogte. Door de afgelegen ligging is deze stad een toevluchtsoord geworden voor minderheidsgroeperingen in Vietnam. Ook hier zullen we verblijven in gasthuizen. Als vrijwilligers zullen we daar helpen in een onderwijsproject om kinderen Engels te leren.
Na ons verblijf in Sapa zullen we nog een week verblijven in Bali. Hier zullen we even tot rust komen na alle indrukken maar vooral even genieten.
Natuurlijk zijn we allebei hard aan het werk om deze reis te financieren, maar helaas is dit nog niet genoeg.
